24.01.2022 Strong women rarely have an easy past. #portraitphotography #portrait #strongwomen #herstorypt1

23.01.2022 Since my International Women’s Day event in March, it’s been head down, bum up working on Herstory Pt 2. This is my first feature on this new series. Lynne is pure joy to work with! Open, body confident & easy going. What more could a photographer ask for! She’s very much at one in the Australian bush. A nature lover, avid camper, teacher librarian for 26 years. To show one should never stop learning, Lynne recently completed her Master of Education in Social Ecology - a s...tudy on social and environmental sustainability, the relationship between people & the environment. Environmental education & reconnecting children with nature are her passion. #herstorypt2 #portraitphotography #portrait #balakafalls #inspiringwomen #teachersofinstagram

22.01.2022 Susan, 57 There’s no denying how seriously tough it is to be a single mum. This lady sure ran a very tight ship as a full-time teacher & raised two wonderful boys into fine young men. Being a single mum is bloody hard work as you don’t have anyone to share the stress & workload with. Although I basically did it all. I didn’t have to share the boys with anyone. There were times when I felt like giving up but with the love & support of my family & friends, I was given time wh...en it was needed. What advice would you have given your 21 year old self? Marry someone from the same country, with the same family values. Listen to your instincts. Don’t stress the small stuff; something I’m still learning to do! #portrait #herstorypt2 #inspiringwomen #avocabeach #avoca #centralcoastnsw #centralcoast #story #womensstories #strongwomen

19.01.2022 I'm part of my body and it's a part of me From when I was a tiny seed, I've grown with it you see. Though through the years we've struggled, we’ve had more highs than lows. 'Tis the only one I have ... and gets me to where I go #portraitfotography #bnw #herstorypt2

15.01.2022 The most tranquil of places in Tasmania for me. Not a sound to be heard apart from a delightful distant call of a bird. Reposeful Lake Barrington. I am in zen heaven. An artificial lake in northern Tasmania, 40 km south of Devonport. A world class rowing course, dragon boat racing & rowing competitions are held here at various times of the year. And water skiing too. @thetravelbootcamp #createanddominate21 #lakebarrington #lakebarringtontasmania #lake #reflection #reflections #zen #nationalparksaustralia #nationalparktasmania #rowingcourse

12.01.2022 Walking along a paddock at a property at Cradle Mountain & meet a friendly ass. Or three. They’re kept to help keep the grass under control according to the owner. A popular choice of farm animal / pet in recent years with breeders in rural Tasmania & Victoria apparently. #donkey #donkeysofinstagram #donkeylove #paddock

07.01.2022 Beautiful @lucie___louise at a shoot in the backyard of my home a month ago. HMUA @le_fabulous 13 sleeps before Christmas & 19 sleeps before 2021 rolls around. Woohoo!! How will you spend the final days of 2020? I’m catching up on editing, another photoshoot next week & working on an exciting event, @herstorypt1 to coincide with International Women’s Day next March. Much to look forward to in 2021. Can’t be as bad as 2020 right? #herstorypt1 #bnw #bnwphotography #portrait #model

03.01.2022 A big thank you to all those I have had the privilege to work with this past year. You know who you are. It has been a year like we have never known. Wishing everyone all the very best in 2021. May we look back on 2021 a little more fondly. Stay safe out there. #herstorypt1 #bushphotography #nationalparknsw #nationalparkaustralia

01.01.2022 I was married for 16 years. We were together 22 years. Upon reflection, there were signs but it was only the last 5 years of my marriage that crossdressing was unveiled. Through support from the Seahorse Society, a non-profit support group for crossdressers, transgenders & their partners, we gained the understanding needed for us to move forward until it consumed more of our marriage that was equitable. When he made a decision to transition to be female, I knew it was no lon...ger my path to walk upon. Notwithstanding, Lynne was blindsided when he entered a union with a much younger woman & fathered 2 children before that relationship floundered & ended. Following a period of grieving & forgiveness, the relationship eventually evolved into a friendship with occasional long phone chats & odd meet ups at a cafe. Grieving is part of the process I had to go through due to the loss of my husband who had become the other woman in my marriage. The emotional turmoil exacerbates the normal processing of feelings of loss that occurs when a marriage ends. #portraitphotography #people #storytelling #herstorypt2 #balakafalls @le_fabulous @lmmillson
