23.01.2022 Sliding door repair and the type 3 has had its RWC done and is ready to hit the toad.

21.01.2022 Stripping the roof back on a cabrio Ghia . Few hidden surprises to be fixed before we can start fitting all the new liner padding and hood.

20.01.2022 Finished the Porsche today and it off with its RWC and started work on this lovely blue bus. Sorting a few electrical things and fixing some oil leaks today.

20.01.2022 Working on the 59 kombi today. Brake lines and disc brakes being fitted. Fuel tap rebuilt and ready to be fitted up.

20.01.2022 Finished off all the brake lines on the kombi today and all topped up with fluid. Karmann cabrio is off for some dent removal and touch up work and another one is in for getting ready to go back on the road.

18.01.2022 Fuel tank all sorted and back in to be hooked up in the Ghia.

17.01.2022 Some more work on a type 3 fastback today and then onto the 59 bus build. Transmission clean up for irs upgrade.

17.01.2022 New tail pipes on the Ghia. Baywindow kombi carbs are fully rebuilt and back on. Running like a clock

16.01.2022 Checking over the buggy and preparing to start up the Karmann Ghia after a long hibernation.

11.01.2022 Early bus fuel tap rebuild.

09.01.2022 New brakes going on the Karmann cabrio. All German rotors and wheel bearings because only the best will do New sealed beam headlights going in also as the previous were for left hand drive and one was blown. This Karmann started life as a left hand drive.

07.01.2022 New front are rear transaxle mounts. While the engine is out well fit some new oil cooler seals as the old ones are hard and starting to leak.

05.01.2022 Few wiper repairs and service on this little beetle. Last few jobs on one of the split kombis and it’s ready for RWC.

05.01.2022 Finish off the bay window and it’s all sorted for RWC. Onto the split kombi making up irs axles and brake lines. Fitting gearbox and engine and seeing how much room we have.

01.01.2022 Fuel lines done , we have oil pressure and fuel pressure and the Ghia engine is up and running. Next week we should be looking at the brakes.

01.01.2022 With the start of Spring here you’d have to be happy owning this Karmann cabrio. Carburettor rebuild some new plugs, check and adjust timing. Running like a clock
