18.01.2022 We enjoy the beautiful vintage items that pass through our hands however every now and then we find something that makes us stop and think about the people, time and place it was made for. These details are from a World War German material sling that includes visual instructions on how to use it ... So clever and quirky.

14.01.2022 I suppose the fact that I can clearly remember the little tune that introduced the Wombles Tv show each week makes me a certain vintage ... but when I found my Womble in a box of old toys I couldn't help reminiscing about the cute song "Underground, overground wombling free the Wombles of Wimbledon common are we, making good use of the things that we find, things that the everyday folk leave behind!" I love the 1970s nod to recycling and thriftiness in the song ... Abit of a theme for those of us that love vintage too!
