25.01.2022 What a lovely visit to Singleton Primary School today. Mrs Pitchford was kind enough to take the time to explain to the children how we borrow books from the school once we start at Kindy and how to be respectful by caring for them properly. Every Monday for the remainder of the term we hope to visit the library and borrow some great new stories!

23.01.2022 Hi Families, Wed just like to update everyone about our current COVID-19 practices still being implemented within the service. Normal sign-in/sign-out practices have resumed, so families must sign their children in or out upon arriving at the centre via the iPad in the foyer, or the iPad available in the OSHC. If youre unsure about this please speak to an educator for assistance.... Families must still sanitize their hands upon entry to the service. If you or your child show any signs of illness please stay home, and notify the centre as soon a possible. We want to ensure the safety and well-being of all the children in our care. Tiny Timms Team :)

Tiny Timms has been receiving regular updates from the Education Department, the Department of Health and the Education and Care Regulatory Unit. Based on the information we have received we are continuing to operate as normal Business as usual. ... Currently any family who has returned from overseas must quarantine themselves for 14 days and are unable to attend the centre. Similarly if youve interacted with family whove been overseas and then you present symptoms of illness you must also self-isolate for 14 days. If you choose to keep your children home you will be marked as absent and charged for those absences. Should you wish to remove your child from permanent care then you will be required to give two weeks written notice, as per our policy. If you do not attend in the final two weeks of care then your Child Care Subsidy will be forfeit and you will be charged full fees. If you or your children are unwell we request that you please remain at home. Any symptoms of illness such as coughing, runny noses, temperatures etc. will immediately result in the child needing to be collected from care to protect the health and well-being of the other children and educators. Here are some recommended tips to prevent the spread of COVID-19: Frequently washing your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water, or using an alcohol based hand gel Refraining from touching mouth and nose If coughing or sneezing, covering your nose and mouth with a paper tissue or flexed elbow Dispose of the tissue immediately after use and perform hand hygiene Avoiding close contact with anyone if you, or they, have a cold or flu-like symptoms or have been overseas recently (maintain a distance of at least 1.5 metres) If you have any questions, please dont hesitate to ask us. 05.01.2022 Dear Families, Each week were putting a question to our parents about the centre and the quality of care we provide for your children. It will link with the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework which guide all our policies and practices. The question requires a simple yes or no answer, and weve provided two small jars where wed like you to place a stone symbolising your answer. Weve implemented this because we can appreciate how busy our familie...s are and pick-up/drop-off times can be rushed each day. This takes a moment of your time, and is completely anonymous. We care to hear your feedback in order to improve our practices and pin-point our strengths. Kind Regards, Tiny Timms Team
