07.01.2022 Last week we were very excited (and a little disgusted ) to find these grubs in our garden! When we found them we werent sure what they were so we did some research and discovered they were curl grubs which are the larvae of different species of beetle. The larvae feed on dead plant material and the live roots or stems of different plants. The children were very proud of their discovery
07.01.2022 Today we were excited to add natural wooden blocks to our play environment. The children showed a lot of interest creating areas for our animals and practicing building towers with different and more challenging shapes and angles.

02.01.2022 The children have been expertly relocating the rocks in our sand play area to create their own play spaces and games, this time they were dinosaur eggs. They have also been cooking up a storm in our mud kitchen
