20.01.2022 !Our very first excursion with our TinyBeez bus! Every 4 minutes 10,000 containers are been used in Australia! Our tiny beez have been super busy the past two weeks to collect cans, plastic bottles and glass bottles to take them to our local WA container exchange in order to learn and experience recycling and the importance of it. This is super easy!, everyone agreed using the machines to seperate the glass and plastic bottles. We watched how the bottles got separate...d and then been put into the big bin outside for collection. We learned so much today: The plastic bottles are been recycled into bins, the glass will be broken down and shipped to south Australia where they’ve been turned into new glass bottles and the cans will be broken down to make new aluminium wings for airplanes. How great is that!! Part of our curriculum is to teach children become more environmentally aware and introduce sustainable practices into their daily routine. This not only connects them to their local community but also lets them grow into independent thinkers and citizens of the world. Thank you so much for having us WA Containers Exchange! We will be back soon

16.01.2022 Thanks so much to Justine from WA Child Safety Services - WACSS for coming to our centre on Monday evening to do a Protective Behaviours training with all staff from TinyBeez. It was such a knowledgeable training and we will definitely be implementing it through our curriculum to help our children understand that they each have a right to be safe from harm and to feel safe also.

15.01.2022 Fresh out of our garden Dear Families, Our Yonga children have planted and watered our vegetable patch over the past few weeks and are now very proud to have harvested their goods. Please take some fresh parsley and salad on your way out today

10.01.2022 Peaceful rest time in our garden This week our Koomal children have taken advantage of the beautiful spring weather and decided to take their rest time in our outdoor environment. With peaceful music and fresh air, the children were able to relax and sleep. Our practice is not only promoting children’s health and well-being but also follows the children’s agency and builds a connection to their natural environment.

08.01.2022 Beginning of recycling week at TinyBeez This week our children are concentrating on recycling. We will discuss what rubbish can we put in which bin and also are going to have a further look at our worm farm and compost. Our Yonga children will finish off the week with a great excursion to the WA container for exchange in O’Connor, where the children are going to participate in using the machines and raising money for our service. ... If you have any recyclable containers at home, feel free to put them into our blue bin in our foyer with your children This not only enhances the children’s awareness for sustainability but builds a connection to their community and natural environment. This is an important part for raising children to become an active citizen of the world

03.01.2022 Wishing all celebrating a safe and bright Diwali
