21.01.2022 It’s the first Friday of the month y’all, which means in better times we’d be tucking into a negroni right about now, putting on our dancing shoes, and getting ready to head down to Melbourne Museum for Nocturnal! 19.01.2022 In a distant time (when airports were open and we were allowed out of the house), the Empire tagged along on a University of Melbourne forestry field trip to Laos and Vietnam. It was a pretty amazing and eye opening experience, and also stacks of fun. Just thinking about it is making our home office feel pretttty small. 10.01.2022 In 2016, we were asked to come up with an idea to celebrate the Museum Accreditation Program (MAP) officially accrediting 100 Museums across Victoria. So we hired a helium tank, bought some giant red balloons, had some t-shirts, temporary tattoos and socks made (among other things), and travelled around Victoria for a few weeks bringing our crazy idea to life. Looking back on it, we’ve got nothing but respect for the MAP team for letting us run with such a weird and wonderfu...l concept. 07.01.2022 It's been a long lockdown, so we were super excited to get back to into production yesterday (note the two dorky filmmakers in the back of this socially distanced selfie). We were doing interviews with awe inspiring staff from the Royal Melbourne Hospital for a project with the National Communications Museum about Scrub Choir.
