A range of learning aspects were demonstrated by the children including decision making, language and communication, turn taking/sharing, fine motor skills and cooperation. Our potions were magical because if you drank it then it could turn you into another person or animal

23.01.2022 It's a sad day for us at Tiny Tots as we farewell our wonderful Kindy teacher Aureen. We all joined for a morning tea with fresh fruit and vanilla cake and some special yummy treats for Aureen. We will definitely miss her and especially the kindy group will miss their afternoon number writing sessions "around the tree, around the tree and that's how we make a number 3" (we are sure you have heard that saying before haha) We wish Aureen all the best for the future with her studies and hope to see her back one day

18.01.2022 Monday 29th of June was International Mud Day and at Tiny Tots we celebrated in true Mud style... There is nothing quite like the laughter you hear from children having the best time. It was super muddy, super sloppy and very very messy but their faces say it all Our gumboots definately got a good work out!!

18.01.2022 Sunny, warm days are for water play Splashing, pouring and tasting.. Logan brought in some lemons from her neighbours tree, so some of us had a little taste and some made lemon scented water

18.01.2022 On Thursday the Kindy children made some tasty ginger bread cookies the smell was incredible as they added the ingredients. Each child was apart of the process as they followed their instruction pictures. Later in the afternoon the children were able to decorate their own cookies to take home with them at the end of the day

And while we will represent this all year round on our educational programs we love to celebrate with all of Australia at this time We will start the week off with an iconic australian landmark, Uluru, window painting by our Educator Falhan The children have been busy working on some creations also - watch this space

11.01.2022 SCIENCE WEEK: 17 - 21 AUGUST The theme this year was ' Deep Blue' making discoveries about our oceans. Each room has been super busy with loads of cool experiments and exploration opportunities. Sea creature sensory tray with shaving cream and seaweed made out of crepe paper. Frozen sea creatures using salt to help melt the large ice block as we used tools to chip away to find the animals. Hidden sea creatures using white crayon on white cardboard and discover what... creature Is hidden on your page as you paint over it with water colours. Investigating what happens when you out water and oil in a bottle together and then shake it up. And so many more! What a fun and exciting week!! See more

08.01.2022 On Friday 15th of January we held out annual Tiny Tots graduation disco for the children who are starting a new chapter in their lives as they start Kindy and school. Lexi from Bop till you drop came to celebrate with us with a ball of energy, microphones and some awesome music that the children loved. The children had a blast, so much fun it was hard to take photos of everyone

07.01.2022 Today we say goodbye to our Kindy teacher and friend Logan for her last day with us at Tiny Tots. Logan has been working very hard getting all our Kindy children ready for school as they start new chapters in their lives. There is always fun and exciting things to be learnt in the Kindy room with Logan from science experiments, sensory trays, work sheets for number and letter writing and loads more. One of Logan's strengths was her consistency with the children with work learning, structure and routines etc. You will be missed Logan and we wish you all the best

07.01.2022 We found a little friend in our garden today he was very little and fluffy. We then put him safely back in the garden and watched him eat a leaf

06.01.2022 Today the baby and toddler group did some chalk drawings while outside. We had lots of bright colours and the toddler children were able to name each colour they were using. 'A' said "I made a rainbow". Chalk drawing encourages sensory enjoyment, creativity, independent play and physical movement. Scribbling supports muscle and hand-eye coordination, as well as emotional release

05.01.2022 Tiny Tots Biggest Morning tea A huge thank you to the parents that joined us for morning tea - we enjoyed so yummy banana muffins made by Amy and a few extra special treats for the parents and staff. After morning tea we enjoyed some outside play with our visitors and engaged in a art experience 'design your own teacup' so many bright coloured designs that will be proudly hung for all to see. 03.01.2022 Friday 7th of August was 'Jeans 4 Genes Day' and what a fun and exciting day we had. So many people in jeans for the special occasion and we had a little fun with some art and craft designing our own jeans keep an eye it as they will be displayed very soon!

02.01.2022 Look what the toddler children have been learning about 'Dinosaurs' which has been a theme for term 2. Introducing all types of dinosaurs and learning the difference between a herbivore and carnivore The best part is trying to learn the names of these dinosaurs which can be quite tricky even for us educators One of their activities is painting our dinosaurs with lots of bright & bold colours

02.01.2022 Friday 14th of August was : Red Nose Day' so we celebrated by having a RED DAY.. So much red all around us with fun activities and res iced cupcakes. We had red shaving foam, red nose clown painting, red water play with rosemary, thyme, oranges and apples and pin the red nose on the clown. Such an exciting day for us all to help spread awareness of this great cause
