19.01.2022 Kirstin's Back As of Monday Kirstin will be back from maternity leave and into her manager role so she's now your go to person. I am going back into my role in management which is supporting Kirstin and working along side Sylvia with doing all the background bits, policy's/procedures, training for the staff and Educational leader, this means I will still be here to help you with anything you need if Kirstin is busy. ... I would like to take the opportunity to thank-you all for your kindness, patience and working with us during Kirstin's absence. 18.01.2022 Dear Families If you received Child Care Subsidy (CCS) for 2018-19, you must confirm your income with Centrelink. This includes CCS paid directly to you and CCS paid on your behalf to a child care provider. Most parents have already confirmed their income, but if you havent, do it now.... If you dont confirm your 2018-19 income by 30 June 2020, your CCS will stop from 13 July 2020. To confirm your income with Centrelink, you and your partner need to either: lodge your tax returns with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) complete an Advise non-lodgement of tax return with Centrelink, if you dont need to lodge a tax return. You complete the Advise non-lodgement of tax return in your Centrelink online account through myGov or your Express Plus Centrelink mobile app. If youve already confirmed your family income for 2018-19, theres nothing else you need to do. Find out more about Child Care Subsidy on the Services Australia website.

Please be the judge if your child has a runny nose even if its clear, a cough even if its slight or if they seem off and not themselves/had a rough night but arent showing any symptoms of anything please keep them home for as long as it takes to be symptom free!! We are asking anyone with the above to please not enter the centre at all, not even drop off to see how they go, by the time we call you to collect if something is going on it will have also now been passed on to others whilst waiting on your arrival and the cycle continues... We appreciate your support on this to help keep our centre Infection free for all families and educators

16.01.2022 Great news everyone... Happy Feet Fitness classes with Miss Mel will resume at Tiny Tots Childcare in June! We are delighted to inform you that the Happy Feet Fitness head office has authorised for instructors to return to classes nationally from 1st June (2nd June in WA due to the public holiday). This decision has been based on the Australian government confirmation of schools recommencing, instructors isolating, self distancing and no confirmed cases of COVID-19 with...in the Happy Feet Fitness team. Miss Mel is thrilled to be able to return to our centre and once again bring the joy, laughter and fun of Happy Feet Fitness to the children and families here at Tiny Tots Childcare. Classes will resume on Mondays and Tuesdays at 9am and places are limited. 14.01.2022 If you attend the centre but arent at the moment due to the circumstances and havent received a chocolate bunny for your child please stop and come to the gate to collect yours, all bunnys had the childrens name put on them before handing out so we will know which one is for them

13.01.2022 Every month our kindy children go on an excursion to visit the elderly and do crafts, sing songs, and share smiles at The Oaks Nursing Home in Waikiki. We have had to put these excursions on hold due to the current world circumstances. That didnt stop the centre on getting involved to make beautiful Easter cards and gifts for them, they were delivered this afternoon, we hope they all have an extra smile this Easter holiday

05.01.2022 Dear Families Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is starting again on 13 July 2020. If you were receiving CCS before 6 April 2020, it will automatically start again if youve stayed eligible and your enrolment is current and confirmed... Follow these five steps to make sure youve stayed eligible and receive the right amount of CCS: Give Centrelink your 202021 family income estimate to receive the correct CCS percentage and avoid an overpayment. Check your activity hours to receive the correct amount of hours of CCS per fortnight*. Make sure your child meets immunisation requirements. Check your childs enrolment details are current with us and re-enrol if you need to. Confirm your income for 201819 if you havent already by 30 June 2020. *From 13 July 2020, the Australian Government is easing the activity test for CCS. This means you may be able to apply for extra activity hours if COVID-19 has affected you. There will be more information about how to do this in July. If youre new to child care, you should claim CCS as soon as possible. From 13 July 2020, youll pay full fees unless youre getting CCS. For more information, visit Services Australia. The Department of Education, Skills and Employment has created an information sheet for families about the transition arrangements for the end of the Early Childhood Education and Care Relief Package and the return to CCS.

03.01.2022 Please share away :):) Our motivation for this is we have been directly affected by this terrible disease, we celebrate this terrific cause every year but this year is a little different for us as the personal impact has become a reality. One of our educators son's was diagnosed a year ago then 3mths later a sibling of one of our attending family's was also diagnosed. And we now have Riley, Leonie in our management teams 9 year old nephew diagnosed 4 weeks ago.... Please get ...onboard and help us to raise awareness along with funds for this amazing campaign. Thankyou all so much, your all amazing look at that target continuing to rise above!! An update on Riley.....yesterday marked 4 weeks, he has had a rough battle since the surgery to remove the tumor on day 2. Riley ended up with meningitis which has set him back from going forward quite a bit, he has been in intensive care and even put into a coma for a few days to help him fight. The whole time he has shown nothing but resilience and hasn't given up once, we as his family are so proud of our little trooper !! Keep going Riley...
