21.01.2022 What did the month of February look like at Tiny Town Children's Centre? It looked like this... - Composting & Gardening ... - National Fairy Tale day - Dinosaurs - Birds - Kittens - Science - Cooking - Arts & craft (And so much more!) Loads of fun whilst, learning, experimenting, exploring, collaborating and celebrating! This month we also introduced a nappy bag free approach to our centre. The support and response to this has been very positive, with many of our families purchasing wet bags and also supporting local business "Archer and I' A massivel thank you to our special visitors... Bill (Arthur's dad) for bringing in his dinosaur bones. Kate (Cheyanne's friend) for bringing in her amazing birds. Kelly (Daly's mum) for bringing in her kittens. Our children and staff thoroughly enjoy and appreciate your visits Looking forward to lots more fun and learning in March

02.01.2022 Our children are absolutely loving all the new and exciting educational resources and experiences on offer. Play-based learning is so beneficial to children's development. Through play children can develop social and cognitive skills, mature emotionally, and gain the self-confidence required to engage in new experiences and environments.

02.01.2022 What an amazing week we've had and I think we would have to say the highlight would have to be Arthur’s dad visiting us this morning. He shared how when he was 12 years old, he discovered fossils on his father’s farm in NSW and found out they belonged to a large wombat like animal. He shared the fossils were bones turned to stone, hence making them fossils. The pictures that Bill showed of this wombat like animal were amazing and the children eagerly listened and participated with excitement as he explained everything in a way that was understood by us all. He also showed a huge kangaroo toe that would have been as high as the room. A huge thank you to you Bill! We are most grateful for you coming and sharing your knowledge with us.
