15.01.2022 The magnificent Mt Feathertop viewed through the misty burnt snowgums. We were on our way back to camp after our visit to Blairs Hut and Westons hut. The storm came rolling over us as we crossed Pretty Valley, and put on quite a show! Thunder, rain, hail and lightening! The horses were (almost) stoic!

14.01.2022 We noticed the brumbies are very territorial- when one group stopped watching and following us, we would come across a new group. It made us think how much we must affect horses when we move them around, sell them, make them mix in new social groups....
