20.01.2022 I know ive posted a bit of food lately but this deserves a special thankyou to the two kids at a job today who, after knowing i was moving a heap of concrete path sections, thought i could use some tucker. Mum supplied the drink, daughter suggested the crackers and the young fella, well bless his heart come up with chocolate!! Thankyou so much for such a kind offering!!

15.01.2022 Soooo just a bit of info and letting u know that big changes are happening at Childers tip that will affect not only Tip Turkey but they will have huge consequences for skip bin operators and local farmers. Not only are tip fees rising maybe 15 percent but they wont accept bins over 3 cubic metres and wont be accepting trickle tape from farms any longer. My heart goes out to these guys who will be forced to use facilities in Bundy where the ole weighbridge can be brutal. Cur...rently i am charged $54 to use Childers tip but that will increase to $65-$70 as of the end of this month. Therefore my charges will have to lifted a little too. So thats about $60-$70 to dump even a single item. Yep.. One chair for example. Believe me i aint whinging about my situation as i am one of the lucky ones. Its the bin guys and farmers that are gunna struggle. Just know that me and the bin guys have to charge what we charge and none of us make much coin in the end. So support your skip bin mobs too and maybe even get those rubbish jobs booked in before the end of the month to help them out. Currently we are charged $270 a tonne to dump a load and that will increase $285. A tonne of rubbish can be loaded fairly quickly so keep that in mind if you ever wonder why bin prices might be high.
