15.01.2022 A joint end-of-semester recital and public workshop presented by the SCM Balinese Gamelan Ensemble, led by Gary Watson, and members of the SCM Chinese Music Ensemble, led by Dr Nicholas Ng. Program features a new work for voice and gamelan by Honours Composition student, Oscar Smith, plus a gamelan workshop where we invite audience members onstage to learn to play a simple gamelan piece - no previous gamelan experience needed and children are more than welcome to take part.
