21.01.2022 Today we acknowledge the 40 year anniversary of Women in Surf Life Saving being able to gain their Bronze Medallion. Thank you to all our dedicated female members who volunteer across many disciplines at a Club, State, National and International level. The contribution of females back in those early days created a pathway for others in the movement that today sees an increase in female participation supporting the Organisations vision to save lives, create great Australians and build stronger communities. 20.01.2022 Our volunteers that include Director of Lifesaving & Education Paul Lynch, Nick Journet Justin Meldrum Mark Mulvay Elana Mulvay & Kevin Duguid have been assisting with the incident at Scarborough last night & today. It is a testimony of their dedication to the Surf Lifesaving movement willingly providing knowledge, skills & support to the other services deployed during a challenging time. It is important that you share your surf knowledge with family, friends & neighbours. ALWAYS swim between the flags & avoid swimming at unpatrolled beaches. This exciting concept focuses on 3 rounds across 3 locations. What a fantastic experience made possible by our volunteers who put so much effort into ensuring that the BEST memories were created. Our future leaders stepped out of their comfort zones & embraced everything that camp life has to offer. Setting these kids up with the right skills & mindset to be the very best community minded citizens is our goal & objective underpinning our motto ‘Saving Lives Developing Lives’ #thefutureisbright

05.01.2022 What a fantastic turnout at TI for the launch of the #WoodsideNippers program 20/21. Our U8’s to U13’s braved the weather & had an awesome time on the sand & in the surf. Not even the rain could dampen the enthusiasm & love for everything that is surf lifesaving. Huge thanks to all the volunteers across so many areas of the club who turned out in force to make the morning a success. There are roles for everyone at TI so get involved & be a part of the oldest & greatest Australian iconic volunteer movement.
