25.01.2022 Warren Buffett has invested $6 billion across five major Japanese companies, including a Titomic distribution partner, Marubeni. The investment comes as these industrial behemoths look toward emerging sectors for growth opportunities, particularly additive manufacturing. Although rooted in low-margin commodity trading, these companies "have evolved into strategic equity investors including investments in 3D printing."... Commenting on the broad impact of the investment, author Charles Goulding states "It will become apparent that this is actually a global investment rather than a concentrated in-country Japanese investment due to their global reach." https://bit.ly/3mLn05y #Manufacturing #Investment #3DPrinting

17.01.2022 Working cohesively, Australia has the opportunity to rebuild our manufacturing sector to become one of the world's most advanced. Companies like Tritium and Titomic are leading the way in this rebuild, however, to be successful, Australia must work together. To bring about this change, Australia must build value chains around our natural resources, build effective collaboration between research and industry, and invest in sovereign supply chains and their suppliers.... Once successful, the industry stands to deliver tremendous value for all of Australia now, and well into the future. #AustralianManufacturing #Manufacturing #MetalAM https://bit.ly/2ZfIFry

09.01.2022 As featured in The Australian Financial Review today, Titomic has highlighted the urgent need for Australia to begin to build value chains around its natural resources - including renewable energy sources and minerals - for our common, long-term benefit. 07.01.2022 Titomic’s manufacturing operations will continue in line with the Victorian Government's Stage 4 COVID-19 restrictions. Titomic has industry-specific obligations relating to primary metal and metal product manufacturing and has exemption permits for on-site work to produce goods and materials necessary for or related to supporting defence industries both in Australia and globally. Following the guidance of Victoria’s Chief Health Officer, Titomic has enacted a COVID Safe Plan..., focussing on safety, prevention, and response in the event that COVID-19 is linked to the workplace. As Titomic navigates this Victorian state of disaster, we extend sincere gratitude to our valued clients, shareholders, suppliers, and staff for their continued support, while our thoughts remain with our fellow Victorians as we battle through this arduous, difficult time. https://bit.ly/2BXCVuQ
