17.01.2022 TIV UPDATE | COVID-19 Courses Still Being Delivered Virtual Classroom Available Extra Student Support Available ... Beginning in March 2020, our trainers have delivered courses remotely to students through virtual classrooms. This has allowed students to access their courses without the need to attend actual classroom sessions. Importantly, this has removed any safety concerns of students about the virus transmission risks inherent in face to face class delivery. contacts with other students. 16.01.2022 New Apprenticeship Subsidy The Federal Government yesterday announced a new $1.2 billion wage subsidy for apprentices ahead of the full outline of the Federal Budget tomorrow. The funding is designed to help 100,000 school leavers find employment in trades during the COVID-19 recovery. You can access the grants, where eligible, that will subsidise half an apprentices first year’s wage from 5 October 2020, until 30 September, 2021. Click the link below for more info.

09.01.2022 With the recent new restrictions in Victoria TIV has had to delay all face to face classes by 1 week. An SMS and an email have been sent out to all the affected students. All Virtual Classroom classes will proceed as normal. If you still are unclear, please call TIV on 9399 9511 and press #3. 04.01.2022 Congratulations to our first group of students who have now finished their Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) through our new Virtual Classroom! The students started on the 25th of March and have finished classes this week. They were the first group to adapt to TIV's Virtual Classroom as it was a first for everyone. Moving forward the Virtual Classroom will be used primarily as it gives students even more flexibility to study from home and be located anywh...ere in Victoria! There will also be the option for face to face classes for those who do prefer that delivery method. Well done to all students involved!
