25.01.2022 My special guest today is Dr Robert A'Hoon. Robert is a 67 year old gay man living in a committed relationship for over fifteen years. He is a semi-retired psychiatrist who has been an active member of Men's Wellbeing Incorporated for over twenty years. He currently serves on the Queensland Mental Health Review Tribunal. He believes in living a life of physical, emotional and spiritual balance.... Robert's story will go to air Friday 22 June, 3.30pm and is available on SoundCloud.

Kim is the founder of "Homeland Journeys" where she offers unique spiritual, cultural and historical journeys to Alice Springs and the West MacDonnell Ranges, the homeland country of her Arrernte family. 03.01.2022 Today my special guest in the studio is Shaun O'Gorman. After serving thirteen years in the Queensland Police Force, Shaun was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) from the result of years of exposure to violence and human tragedy. Over fifteen years he researched stress management, personal development and human behaviour with the goal of healing himself. Shaun now has his own business, "The Strong Life Project". ... Andy is a veteran of seventeen years service with the Australian Army retiring as a Major in 2012 having focussed much of his career in Explosive Ordinance Disposal. Zoe grew up in the tranquill hills of Byron Bay living in a mud brick home her parents had built. She has a passion for life, family and travel and after university she married Andy who was at this stage already in the Australian Army. Andy was diagno...sed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) following multiple deployments in Afganistan. Zoe was forced into the position of sole parent for their four young children. Andy and Zoe's story to be advised due to a recording glitch via phone .....we will get there in a few weeks! Sorry for the inconvenience.....it is an amazing story of this man and woman over coming adversity together....and triumphing!
