11.01.2022 We love a good progress update here at TJM Builders QLD. Currently we have been renovating a charming workers cottage, located in the heart of Petrie Terrace. This cottage is a little bit special, as it is also where our clients call home. The scope for this project was to upgrade the laundry and bathroom areas, with a modernised yet classic touch to reflect on the nostalgic Victorian period in which this cottage was built.... Join us as we share the transformation from start to finish. Interesting tip for postcode 4000, Petrie Terrace was named after the thoroughfare, Petrie Terrace, which runs from Upper Roma Street to the Five Ways at Musgrave Road. 08.01.2022 Making small changes can really create character and positive change to how your home feels. The scope was to create a feature wall installed over the existing plaster wall to separate the entry from the lounge room and removal of the original archway, to create a more open plan living space. 02.01.2022 It’s nice to be a part of something where you really know your making a difference. This recent reno was completed to assist our client who had slipped through the gaps in terms of meeting the criteria mapped out to meet the requirements of the NDIS program. We worked together with our client, their daughter and the Occupational Therapist to create a functioning home environment. After a very long inpatient admission, we are happy to have this ready for our client on their much awaited return to their home. Maintaining independence is vital for anyone’s wellbeing and we are grateful that we played a small part in their journey.
