The fuse wire is often oversized (especially on farms where they haven’t had the correct size on hand), this can lead to melting of cables In the case of an overload and is a huge fire risk.

03.01.2022 First off grid install completed a couple of weeks ago for Keppel Prince Solar. This was for Rentsch’s in Mailors Flat on a display for a single bedroom unit. This system utilises 7.2kw of solar, 10kwh of BYD 48v lithium batteries, Victron 250v/100A charge controller, Victron Quattro 8kva inverter, and a 6kva generator to supply power to the unit everyday of the year.
