19.01.2022 One of the main areas to address besides the lower part of the frame around the foot pegs is the main hoop... almost full wrap around plates cover all the problem areas and factory joins. This frame had a previous repair done but it was easier to replace the hole section and just fit the OEM mounts than try and clean it up. Every frame we have done has required different repairs and fabrication to fix problem areas, custom gussets & sections replaced.

11.01.2022 Well it was a great weekend of racing starting on Saturday with @sienna_comito41 going out for her first state round showing pure grit dealing with a rough track and less than favorable suspension setup giving her 4th for the day. Sunday was the first of our riders @chris_bosnakis & @bbosustow_20 on there new TRX / CRF 450 hybrids we built for them showing how good we build them putting them at the front of the pack at the first and last gate drop with zero maintenance apart ...from an unfortunate rear suspension failure during practice that we had nothing to do with and was out of our control but a quick change out and Chriss was able to take the race win and the next 3 after that giving him the red plate going into round 2. 06.01.2022 Another hybrid ATV build requiring a complete overhaul and modification improvements, these engine bushes wore badly flogged out and had caused considerably wear to the engine cases... We machined up new bushes and worked some magic on the cases also made interchangeable engine mounts for easy engine swaps in the future with a heap more fixups. #custom #fabrication #hybrid #atv #quads

02.01.2022 TRX 450 Frames.... As a stock frame not so good... every frame we have repaired show cracking or compete failure in the area pictured. Some gusset kits you can buy dont even come close to addressing this problem as you can see they dont just crack in the same spot even when gussets have been fitted previously. So if you purchase one of these kits and you send it to "old mate welding and engineering" he or she might be able to weld it in nice but do they know whats really... going on or even care??? Will the gussets alow for some nerf bar fitment??? And the big question how much will it cost you.. will they give you a fixed price or a nasty surprise and start making excuses to justify the bill???
