25.01.2022 Engine dramas continue! This past Saturday was round 2 of the Toowoomba mobile welding lightning sprint series. Heat 1 saw Tyler roll out of position 7, from there Tyler was able to gain a few spots but was caught off guard with how greasy it was on the top and almost caught the fence before spinning and unfortunately collecting another car.... Heat 2 saw Tyler from position 2, unfortunately we were not able to set the car up right as the crew was fixing the damages from the previous heat. With that being said Tyler unfortunately couldn’t control the car as best as he wanted and spun out twice and pulling into the infield. Heat 3 saw Tyler out of P7 and well... the engine dramas continue. Tyler was able to gain a few positions until he went to throw a slider and the engine stopped causing him to come to a stop and the top of the track. Tyler ended up pulling to the infield as the car was not able to run to its best ability. Feature race saw Tyler come from dead last in 10th place. Tyler was able to keep the momentum through the middle the whole race as we just wanted to finish with a decent position after a long difficult night. Tyler was able to come home in position 7. Unfortunately the start of the season hasn’t been as good as we have wanted with to many engine problems that haven’t been fixed after a number of attempts to get it back to how it was. We hope we can turn this season around very quickly and get back to winning ways. 18.01.2022 First Win Of The Season! Last night was round 7 at Archerfield Speedway and what a way to bounce back after a rough couple of races. Heat 1 saw Tyler roll out of position 5, unfortunately as the track was still very greasy and one lane Tyler remained in 5th place for the entirety of the race. ... Heat 2 saw Tyler once again roll out in position 5, this time Tyler was able to gain one position on the start to come home 4th. Heat 3 saw Tyler roll out in position 3, on the start Tyler dropped to P4 but with some luck on his side 2 cars in the last 3 laps spun which put Tyler into position 2 to finish the race. After all heats were completed Tyler was sitting 3rd highest in points. Luckily enough Tyler pulled the Number 1 marble putting him off pole position in the feature. Tyler was able to lead from green to checker and even pulling out to a straight away lead at one stage. After a few cautions Tyler was able to get into a good rythm running the bottom lap after lap hitting his marks and came home with is first win of the season. 10.01.2022 1 year ago today we managed to get the biggest win of my career so far. Unfortunately the gold cup has been postponed this year due to the pandemic but never the less as soon as the time comes we’ll be ready to defend this trophy.
