22.01.2022 Hello Tasmania! And hello Facebook-Land, long time!!! Moira and I are always in pursuit of a change in scenery & this place has it in spades!!! We were fortunate enough to visit this breathtakingly-beautiful state earlier this year before 2020 hit the fan! Well, now we're back! We've done all our quarantining/isolating and are settling in. The first image I took was from my visit to the #MadMax2Museum in #Silverton and the other from #MundiMundiPlains, one of the films locations. The rest is a result of hours in #Photoshop. 13.01.2022 I recently had the pleasure of visiting Australias best kept secret, Tasmania. Unfortunately my visit was only for a week and that time frame doesnt even come close to doing the island justice! Although my stay was very short I tried my best to get around and see what I could. With its rugged mountains and historical charm every direction you look could grace a postcard. I will definitely be back to spend more time here! Here is a small handful of images for my exploring.

10.01.2022 So, the other day, I was just driving along casually, as you do. There were no clouds about for sunset and I was a bit disappointed as I really wanted to shoot some long exposures. Anyway, out of nowhere I spotted these Brumby's grazing a couple hundred metres from the side of the road! I didn't want to get too close to them, because, you know, they're wild and twice my size! So I grabbed my 70-200mm 2.8 and walked out to meet them. They were just content with me walking around them taking their photo. I actually did get quite close to them and ended up getting a handful of great images :D It was such a surreal moment and I'll never forget it. #BrokenHill #Silverton #Outback #Brumby #WILDWEST

It's a shame we weren't there for very long but I'd never been before so it was a lot of fun seeing a new city for the first time and wandering around seeing what was going on! It is open to the public 6 days a week & tickets are $2. 03.01.2022 This is one of my favorite shots from our short trip to #Adelaide last week. Having been in #BrokenHill (the desert) for a couple of months now it's no surprise I made a Bee-Line to the Ocean for some coastal photography! This is #PortWillunga. A top spot just south of the City. I had initially set up my camera down on the shoreline with the waves, but changed my mind after a Grey-Hound bus full of tourists decided to join me just before sunset, so I decided to climb up the hill and get a more peaceful composition without the 30+ other photographers in it. Let me know what you think and please feel free to give me some inside info on any other worth while spots I should visit down there for next time :D TjZ
