20.01.2022 This Saturday, together with A.M. Colony and PRAY TELL, we join together to realise our shared vision of Union: Bruce, Simo Cell & Dreems. This will be the most immersive, engaging experience we've been a part of and we can't wait to share it with you. The musical combination of Bruce, Simo Cell & Dreems is truly tantalising and we are no doubt in store for a night of twisting, tunnelling and traversing sounds in our warehouse paradise. 08.01.2022 Whilst there are a number of factors that have us excited for our upcoming event (amazing line up of DJ's/killer collection of crews), one thing that really sealed the deal for us in this venture is the space we have secured. Set and setting are both extremely important to one's perception of experience. This is something we are acutely aware of and as such, it's the reason we feel so strongly about the space that we have to share with you. We think it's quite unique in the ...party landscape of Brisbane we are all extremely excited to see how each participant is going to interact with the space and vice versa. 08.01.2022 Simo Cell is a French talent from Nantes. His singularity in the flourishing French landscape results from a style at the crossroads of many genres. As a DJ and as a producer, he blends UK sounds with eclecticism and an experimental approach. Affiliated with English imprints such as Livity Sound, Timedance and Wisdom Teeth, the Paris-based producer is also deeply involved in the French scene working with the infamous BFDM crew and collaborating with artists such as Bambounou..., Low Jack and the Pilotwings. DJing for more than a decade and taking part in several collectives, Simo Cell is not restricted to any one scene or particular style, choosing to find his own way through unpredictable, exciting and dynamic sets. 01.01.2022 Larry McCarthy aka Bruce creates postmodern rhythmic drama at the burning intersection of UK dance music. His music operates at all speeds without any predictable formula. Some tracks stutter and thump with cybernetic power; others flutter and glide in poignant shades of blurring colour. It’s a fragmented, low-frequency meltdown, evocative shimmers of light emanating from the cracks. Sometimes what you're listening to is suddenly scraped off and wiped away, leaving only silen...ce as you blink in disbelief. With a deep understanding of tension and release - essential for thrills and head-spins - McCarthy has been a fundamental force in the continuing output of the pioneering label collective Hessle Audio since his 2014 debut. Since its inception, McCarthy has been also a close affiliate of the Timedance label, where he’s continued to expand his sound, along with Livity Sound and Hemlock.
