25.01.2022 Wish I was working south today. Look great

25.01.2022 First warm one today. I could hear the roof linings dropping quicker then we can refit them. Its not only warm weather that encourages them to drop its the cold. Being that Perth is in a seasonal weather pattern we cop it all. Dont feel alone. Its every make and model that has the issue. ... Once they start to peel away in one small spot they unfortunately are coming down. Get in quick so you wont be breathing the toxic yellow dust that follows. I promise you it gets everywhere. 13.01.2022 Hello please share. When your Lining starts to drop it means this foam used by the car manufacturers has broken down. Once the lining drops this is what we are breathing. Gluey horrible dust from the padding and the glue. Please share. We dont want you or your children breathing this. It is not at all healthy. 06.01.2022 The reason the roof linings fall down and how we fix them. Please remember - Mobile Car Roof Lining Repairs All Work Done Onsite Cloth roof linings fall down b...ecause of the heat that builds up in a car, over time the foam backing on the material crumbles away making it un-stick and fall away from the roof lining board causing the roof to fall down, once this has happen the material needs to be replaced. Our professional repair involves taking everything off the roof, lights, handles, sun visors, clips, panels etc. Once everything has been taken off the roof lining is taken out of the car and cleaned ,then new material is applied using an adhesive, the adhesive we use is heat resistant something car manufacturers also have not taken into account, our hot Perth summers. Then the material that is of better design and quality is applied to the roof lining board moulded to the shape then cut out to size and fitted back into your car. The new material is double cloth backed so the padding is insulated and not connected to the roof lining board. This takes between 2-3 hours for a sedan depending on the car and any extras like sun roofs. Door trims with carpet panels also fall down and can also be repaired onsite With our mobile service we perform all this plus more on-site, whilst you are at home or work.
