04.01.2022 NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS NOW ACCEPTING TELEPHONE BOOKINGS In response to the COVID-19, in March 2020 the NSW Government imposed restrictions on the operation of certain businesses. Since then, on 16 April 2020 the NSW Government published information which stated that businesses providing massage therapy services are businesses providing a health service and are not required to close pursuant to the Public Health (COVID-19 Restrictions on Gathering and Movement) Order 2020.... Details of relevant Government statements are available on the NSW Government and NSW Ministry of Health websites at https://www.nsw.gov.au//what-you-can-and-cant-do-under-rul and https://www.health.nsw.gov.au//covid-19-health-services.as We welcome the NSW Governments recognition of massage therapies as health services permitted to operate at present. Accordingly, and consistent with practises in the health services sector, we will now accept customer telephone bookings based on the procedures shown below. These are to protect the wellbeing of customers, massage therapist staff and wider community. Telephone Appointments we will only accept customer bookings by telephone we will ask a series of questions commonly used in the health services sector to screen for COVID-19 before accepting any appointments we will limit appointments to a ratio of 1 customer : 1 massage therapist at any time we will not accept walk-in customers at any time Customer Appointments we will prominently display the latest statements and materials from the NSW Government which authorise our services we will assess customers physical appearance for any flu-like symptoms at each appointment we will ensure our massage therapist staff are trained to deal with infection control we will provide liquid hand sanitiser for customers and will ensure massage therapist staff use liquid hand sanitiser immediately before and after appointments we will maintain high standards of hygiene by ensuring all hard surfaces are sanitised throughout our hours of business and will ensure that massage therapy bedding and coverings are cleaned and freshly replaced at each appointment We are required to retain all customer massage therapy consultation records, including those for the screening and assessment of COVID-19. We reserve the right to refuse any telephone booking request or any appointment attendance subject to COVID-19 screening and assessment procedures.
