11.01.2022 I had a couple of great coffee catch ups with Jane and Amanda from Hip Hampers recently and on both occasions was amazed at their passion and understanding of their own business value and how they create immense value for their customers through an array of exciting marketing services. Usually when you hear the word hamper, it conjures up images of a basket of goodies for Christmas or on a special occasion. Well, you could not be further away from the truth with Hip Hamper...s. Since they founded Hip Hampers in 1999, they have travelled and sourced unique Australian gourmet products. In their words they have delved deep into the valleys (the Hunter, Barossa, Yarra), mingled in Mudgee, munched morsels in Melbourne and swigged in Sydney. Their unique approach and authenticity are displayed in the quality of their hamper products; the customizing of the gift and the marketing for their client. Whether it’s a fully personalised branded wrapped hamper, hand embossed tin ribboned in corporate colours or jute bags with personalised branded gift cards your customer will remember this for a long time. As they say - ‘It’s about delivering extraordinary experiences, which live long in the memory of those who receive them.’ It all starts with a consultation brief to understand your requirements, budget, clients and marketing objectives. This is the key to effective word of mouth marketing. Hip Hampers believe your existing customers are your best referral channel and as such should be sent gifts that show not only your thanks, showcase your brand but also include your business cards for referrals. Sending gifts out of the obvious occasions such as Christmas and at times, appropriate to your business is key. For accountants - End Of Financial Year, real estate agents - Congratulations On Being In Your Home For a Year, Employment Agencies - Valentines Day gifts 'I've loved working with you this past year.' This becomes another sales and marketing arm for your company, an alternate way to utilise your marketing budget and a unique way to thank your clients and staff with unique gifts that represents you and your business. This is feel good gifting at its best. For Jane and Amanda, good business is about connecting people and we want to encourage more of that more connecting, more great relationships and more amazing products. If you think Jane and Amanda are awesome too, then show your support by leaving them a positive comment below and sharing this post.

05.01.2022 It was inspiring meeting with Linda Buchanan recently. A full time mum, part time worker, entrepreneur (A Piece of Europe) and part-time charity worker of The Nickmobil aiding Renal children and their families. In 2001, in memory of their son Nicholas, Linda and her husband organized a Buchanan Jazz Night to raise funds for a car dedicated to The Renal Treatment Centre nurses at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, so they can make house calls to their renal patient...s. $34,817 was raised and the Nickmobil (Rego #NIC4OU) service began. It has been running for 17 years giving great support to renal families. Over the years, Linda has continued to fundraise for this wonderful service and recently created team Nickmobil in the Pub2Pub Everyday Hero Family fun run/walk from Mona Vale to Newport beach raising over $800. Her current venture is Pay It Forward, a 2-3 hour shopping trip to either Macquarie Centre, St Ives Shopping Village or Westfield Hornsby where her clients can enjoy a complimentary beverage/meal at cafes, supporting her charity, for only $40. The supporting businesses are: - Missing Piece Café, Macquarie Centre free beverage. - Cliq Café, St Ives Shopping Centre free meal (2 for 1) and beverage plus Market bag with vouchers. - Espresso Warriors, Westfield Hornsby free meal and beverage. Above service is available now and valid through to 30th June, 2019. Receipts will be sent directly to the business/client from The Fundraising Department, The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. All money raised goes to The Nickmobil fund at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. If you think Linda and the nurses of The Renal Treatment Centre at The Children's Hospital at Westmead are awesome too, then show your support by leaving them a positive comment below and sharing this post. If you or a local business and clients wishing to support this charity please contact Linda on 0402.135.811.
