15.01.2022 Remembrance Day is observed on 11 November in most countries to recall the end of hostilities of First World War on that date, in 1918. It honours the sacrifice and loss of those who have served during wartime to defend our freedom and democracy. Many of our residents at TLC Aged Care either served or have family and friends who have served. The story of Remembrance Day is one of service and care for each other. It is this story with which the TLC community connects to the... ethos and meaning of Remembrance Day through our Mission and Values. 11.01.2022 We did it! TLC is the first residential aged care provider of our size to complete the vaccination of our 1,500 residents, and 2,000 staff and contractors against COVID-19. TLC is the only aged care provider in Australia that has been approved by the Department of Health to directly administer the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. Our aged care homes are now amongst the safest in Australia.
