16.01.2022 Just letting you all know that we don't have budgies for sale. Ours are laying but there haven't been any successful hatches. We understand that these are extremely popular at the moment but all we can suggest is alternative places to look. Feel free to message us for any advice or locations that may have them

11.01.2022 With the weather heating up please make sure you leave a bowl out for the wildlife and most definitely ensure that your feathered or furry babies have adequate shade and water through out the day otherwise bring them inside if you can

10.01.2022 Baby bird season is well and truly happening. That much so that we are the look out for a new or second hand brooder, the one just isn't enough any more. Anyways we currently have a Galah, another 2 eggs in our incubator and hopefully a couple more coming from our breeders. We have Indian Ringnecks and Cockatiels also. The Indian Ringnecks are going extremely well and we already have a waiting list for a couple of colours. As for the Cockatiels, we have sold our current babi...es that were ready and have a short waiting list. And if these guys aren't what you are wanting we have got some Nanday Conures available- they are super friendly and love to sit on you while you give them lots of cuddles and scratches. Currently all our babies are unsexed due to me being busy and also a waiting period of approximately 3wks from the DNA Testing company in Victoria. Unfortunately our Quakers are not laying eggs but have been seen mating so know idea what is happening there... Our Budgies and Green Cheeks are the same! We also have 2 gorgeous Olive Rainbow Lorikeets available- they are very chatty and love human interaction but minus the hands. Lastly if you are after a bird species and think we might be able to help, please feel free to message or ring us See more

07.01.2022 Afternoon tucker time with the little terrors

04.01.2022 So... last night I saw a segment on the news. It was about how people are predicting this years magpies swooping season will be worst due to mask wearing. ... So let me break this down, magpies swoop for a few reasons. Protecting young and territory etc, but they also swoop due to remembering people or animals relating to a bad experience. Magpies are super smart, they remember faces, but in high traffic areas they get confused. Now! Think of the current situation, a lot of people are wearing masks. So therefore magpies will be confused more easily and swoop more people. The SOLUTION! Avoid the area and log swooping magpies on the app- Magpie Attack Radar or online-magpie alert. If you can’t avoid the area, wear something that makes you different from other people. So you can be recognised! #thewildlifetwins #magpies #australia #swoopingmagpies #twins #australianmagpie #whitebackmagpie #blackbackmagpie #gerry #wendy #australian #wildlife See more
