17.01.2022 FOCUS, LISTENING, RELATIONSHIP. This is Rafael, a very cute, very boisterous 4 month old Labrador. His owner has done a great job starting him off on the right foot by commencing his training right from an early age. Already he is learning to focus on his owner and follow commands. Over the next few weeks we are going to fine tune this as well as start teaching him how to walk nicely on the lead. In his first lesson, Rafael started to learn door boundaries into the bedrooms and the front door, the "Leave it" command as well as a game that hones in even more on his focus and listening skills. In just over an hour he and his owner learnt heaps. Looking forward to our next visit.

16.01.2022 Kevie learning his car boundary whilst we went to collect wood. He is not tied in. Waited patiently for an hour watching us. Such a good boy.

12.01.2022 TIME, TIME, TIME, TIME, TIME. It is the number one thing I find most dog owners don't have. Time to train their dog Time to adequately walk their dog Time to play/train their dog... Time to just hang with their dog Time to build a relationship with their dog Time to build trust and confidence in their dog Time is the number one requirement you need if you want to have a fully trained, fully obedient, fully connected dog. If you can't, don't or won't make the time, chances are you are going to have a dog with issues. Some might be small issues, some might be big issues and some may have more issues than other dogs. Owning a dog is a HUGE RESPONSIBILITY, so before deciding on having a dog in your family TAKE THE TIME TO REALLY THINK ABOUT HOW MUCH TIME YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO SPEND WITH YOUR DOG.

08.01.2022 CHOCOLATE LAB, BETTER THAN A CHOCOLATE MILKSHAKE!! This is Sade, a 10 month old Lab who just needs a bit of help learning to listen and focus. An hour of mental stimulation can be just as tiring as physical exercise. Sade has a really sweet disposition but wants to do everything on her terms. When your dog is the one making the decisions, it usually turns out NOT to be the ones you want them to make.
