24.01.2022 Victorian kids will have more opportunities to play sports with their teammates and friends as part of a $45.2 million funding boost to get kids moving and help families with the costs of community sport. The $21 million Get Active Kids Voucher Program is a Victorian first and will support children to get involved in organised activities by providing $200 vouchers to help families with the cost of sports equipment, uniforms or memberships. 23.01.2022 Basketball Victoria has received some further information from Sport and Recreation Victoria (SRV) today but are yet to receive updated Restricted Activity Dire...ctions (RADs) via the Department of Health which are now due tomorrow. Therefore, in regard to the current proposed restrictions, the following applies for all basketball training, competition or activity until Thursday 17 June at 11.59pm. 16.01.2022 A message from Broadmeadows Basketball Association WE'RE BACK! After some very exciting State Government announcements yesterday, we are ready to get back to basketball!... Starting this Sunday we will be commencing our outdoor Rep Ready and Budding Broncos programs for all current and aspiring Junior Broncos leading up to tryouts later in the year. See below for more information and to register now. Places are limited so get in quick! We will have more announcements in the coming days regarding domestic competitions, development programs and the re-opening of Broadmeadows Basketball Stadium next month.

09.01.2022 BBA Covid Update: http://www.broncosbasketball.com.au/news/bba-covid-update/ Please note that the final Restricted Activity Directives have not yet been release...d, however this is our best interpretation based on the information we have. There may be some minor changes made this afternoon and we will communicate these if so. Casual Shooting closed No indoor training Junior Domestic- No games on Saturday 12 June as planned due to Queens Birthday Weekend. Senior Domestic- Games for Sunday 13th, Monday 14th and Wednesday 16th June will be cancelled. We will monitor the situation and plan to release an update on programs and competitions for next weekend by midday Thursday 17 June (pending updates from government). Due to Hume City Council requirements, Broadmeadows Basketball Stadium courts and office remain closed at this time. Thank you all once again for your patience and cooperation. We hope for further easing of restrictions to come next week.

05.01.2022 While there are no dates set as yet for VJBL try outs for the 2021 season Broadmeadows is working towards outdoor training followed by indoor training if possible. Registrations are now open for Budding Broncos and the Rep Ready Program. Please see below for further information on each program and the link to register your players interest. Budding Broncos - is for first year Under 12 Boys and Girls. All junior domestic players born in 2011 & 2012 who are interested in the Ju...niors Broncos program are welcome. Sessions will focus on skills and preparing for the tryout process. Rep Ready Program - led by 2021 VJBL coaches, working on sharpening your skills and regaining your fitness. This program is open to all current representative and junior domestic players (born 2001-2010) who are interested in attending tryouts for the 2021 Junior Broncos. http://www.broncosbasketball.com.au/repready/
