The team at Tm Painting are still operating as usual due to the nature of our work limiting contact with clients and maintaining safe distances and preferences for clients not to be home while work is complete and for those who are we can work something out. We have also completed the covid-19 training. We are keeping up to date as things change and of course any one working with us has been advised not to come in if they show any of the symptoms. 24.01.2022 What’s all this then? Slick new paint going up in main street Mirboo North?! Last month’s Revitalising Ridgway workshop, (funded by the Mirboo North & District ...Community Bank Branch and the Mirboo North & District Community Foundation), ran through some of the ways that small towns, like Mirboo North, can work together to make the most of our strengths and create a town centre that is inviting for visitors and locals alike. Simple things, like public gardens, fresh contemporary paint and clear shop signage work together to build overall street appeal. Following the workshop, Mirboo Country Development Inc.’s Revitalising Ridgway working group has been very busy Place-maker, Catherine Malady, has been working away one-on-one with the first group of retailers, learning more about their business and how best to communicate their message to potential customers within the overall streetscape. Recognising our passion for ‘a little less conversation, a little more action’ Dulux generously agreed to supply us with paint to complete the project within our short timeline. This is something we are so grateful for and will have a huge impact on our main street. So today the painters arrived! Tom & Josh from TM Painting Services will spend the week working away on the stretch from Brava Hair to Craig Young’s Butcher, repainting the tired verandah facia and underside, and refreshing paint on the shop fronts in readiness for their new signage stay tuned for more exciting developments in the coming weeks! Thank you to Brava Hair, Jimmy jambs cafe, Mirboo North Pizza, The Wren's Nest and Craig Young's Butchery for investing in your shopfronts and working together to make this really positive change to our main street. They're all open their usual hours this week, so be sure to head down and check out the progress.
