24.01.2022 New ONLINE CLASS TIMES until further notice. TAEKWONDO Monday & Wednesday - 5.30pm - 7.00pm (this will be a combined live/online class)... CARDIO KICKBOXING Monday to Friday - 9.30am - 10.10am (this will be a combined live/online class) Students who are back to class and have paid fees to their Instructor are welcome to train online as well. Students only training online should pay their online fees through the shop. Go here

21.01.2022 Important Update for all Toogee CQ students and families: First and foremost, Toogee Martial Arts is a family club and the health and well being of our students and their families is our first priority. After much discussion and deliberation, we have decided that it is in the best interests of our students and their families that we suspend all classes in the CQ Region, effective immediately.... This includes all standard and extra classes as well as the grading that was to be held this Saturday 21st March. We are hopeful that this suspension will only be short term and we will be constantly monitoring the situation and any new information as it comes to hand. Both Sabumnim Amanda and myself want to ensure you all we will be doing everything we can to get back to our regular class training schedules as soon as we are able. This decision has not been made lightly, however we strongly feel it is the right thing to do to help protect our Toogee family and our local communities from the chance of spreading the COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Sabumnim Amanda and myself are currently investigating the option of holding classes via video link to ensure that students can continue their training and we will advise any options in the coming days. Grand Master Frost will also be looking to hold classes by video link from Newcastle and we will advise you all of the details once that is confirmed. 15.01.2022 Corona Virus Update. Hello Toogee students and families As a Professional Martial Arts organisation, we take all Health and Safety matters seriously.... I have been closely monitoring what is going on with the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), and how it impacts on our training, and more importantly, the health and safety of our students. At this stage, I have decided that we will continue with classes, but to be safe we have implemented some additional measures. Instructors will enforce a strict hygiene/cleaning policy at HQ, with equipment, mats, bathrooms, and public areas being disinfected and cleaned daily. In locations where we use community halls all efforts will be made to ensure hygienic conditions in the areas used by the students. We will be encouraging (and enforcing) additional and regular personal hygiene of all staff and students with hand washing and sanitation. We are introducing sanitising stations at all dojangs (subject to availability), which members will be encouraged to use before and after training. Our health policy stipulates that any student who is sick should stay home until they are better. We will be strictly enforcing this policy. For the time being, there will be no close contact partner work in classes. This means students will miss some activities but there are still plenty of things to do, with focus being redirected to basics, drills, pad and fitness work etc. If you are travelling overseas, please don't return to training until 14 days after your return home and you are sure you are free of any ill health symptoms. We are doing everything we can to ensure that classes are the same, and that students will not miss out on the fun, fitness and social interaction at their Toogee classes.
