13.01.2022 It’s always a pleasure to work on such a nice set of knives and being stored properly in a knife pouch with a good quality Dick Steel. This Equipment is owned by Bruce Ubergang and its one of the only times I used the customers steel instead of my own to put the finishing touches on the Sharpened knives. A good quality steel and used regularly to keep your knives sharp along with proper storage is a must to maintain sharp knives. Thank you Bruce and Cate for choosing to use our Sharpening Service :)

12.01.2022 We had some Global Pro's to Sharpen today for one of our customer's but one had a broke tip and another had a chip in the blade here are some before and after pictures. They can now be used again in her kitchen and are razor sharp. So if your knives need some professional help its only $10 per knife and we will have them back like new. Please remember to look after your knives once they are sharpened with regular use of a steel, using the proper cutting boards and Knife storage. Working Sharp is Working Smart :)

04.01.2022 We paid a visit to the Iconic Toobeah Pub on Saturday 22.02.20 with Michael and Stacy as our hosts. Great morning of sharpening with several locals dropping in to say hello. The big news is Stacy has put an Ultimatum to Michael to put the Knife magnet back on the wall... We are awaiting pictures!! :)

02.01.2022 Now should you steel a knife using a good steel and frequently the simple answer is YES. Now there are so many different ways to steel a knife I'm only going to confuse people if I start the pros and cons of each method. So for the purpose of keeping it simple here is my go to method which I still use after 45 years of sharpening knives. I use several methods for different purposes or knives but this is the simplest method with no frills. All knives are dangerous so always treat them with respect and the Steel used in the Video is a FDICK steel made in Germany.
