25.01.2022 A new round of FairPlay vouchers will be released tomorrow, 17th March, to get kids back into sport. Parents, carers or guardians can apply for a voucher valued up to $150 for their child, which can be used towards coaching fees, membership or participation fees with Tamborine Mountain Tennis Club. 21.01.2022 SOCIAL TENNIS IS BACK! The Queensland government has announced that gatherings of a maximum of 10 people together in a public space are now allowed. This means that social tennis can now resume. Our weekly sessions will be: MONDAY NIGHTS from 6.30pm. Social tennis. No need to book, just turn up. Our new LED lights make it brighter and easier to see those balls! Cost $6 members, $8 non-members ($25/year gets you club membership and also personal injury insurance with Tenn...is Queensland) TUESDAY MORNINGS social tennis with session leader Paul McCormick : 0403 773 149 from 8.00am to 10.00am No need to book. 06.01.2022 CHAMPIONSHIPS 2021. Following the success of last year's round robin competitions, the club has decided to hold all tournaments as round robins this year. PLEASE RESERVE YOUR PLACE NOW BY RETURNING THE ATTACHED FORM. Round robin matches will be played throughout the year, once a month on Sunday mornings from 9.00am to 1.00pm.... Finals will be played based on the results of the round robin in each competition. The schedule of round robin Sundays: MIXED DOUBLES: April, Sunday 18th May, Sunday 16th June, Sunday 20th MEN'S AND WOMEN'S DOUBLES: July, Sunday 4th August, Sunday 1st September, Sunday 5th MEN'S AND WOMEN'S SINGLES: October, Sunday 3rd November, Sunday 7th December, Sunday 5th Don't worry if you can't make every Sunday; flexibility will be allowed for substitutions and catch-up matches. You can choose from all the formats: Men's singles Women's singles Men's doubles... Women's doubles Mixed doubles Juniors' singles And the good news is that for a $10 flat entry fee you can enter as many events as you like! Matches will be played in rounds, starting in August.
