21.01.2022 Tickets are now on sale for our Christmas Lunch. Call into the Sub Branch Monday to Friday between 9am-12pm to purchase your tickets, or alternately you can call the Sub Branch on 07 5447 1981 to purchase your tickets over the phone using your credit card. We hope to see you there.

18.01.2022 This is a great opportunity for those veterans in the community to learn more about their super and financial wellbeing. Being held in our Diggers’ Bar, bookings are recommended as numbers are limited.

Huge shout out to Noosa FM who this week were named as Finalists in the 2020 Community Radio Annual Awards for their live broadcast of the Anzac Day Dawn Service 2020 by the Tewantin Noosa RSL Sub-Branch (on 25 April 2020). Noosa FM and the Tewantin Noosa RSL Sub-Branch offered in partnership a special ANZAC Day Dawn Service Commemoration which was broadcast to people’s homes over the Noosa FM 101.3 Community Radio airwaves. http...s://www.noosafm.org//25th-april-broadcast-anzac-day-da The Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) Community Radio Awards aim to celebrate innovation, perseverance and community champions within the sector, celebrating the best in community radio across the country. As a proud Community Sponsor of Noosa FM 101.3, the Tewantin-Noosa RSL Sub-Branch is proud to announce that from more than 300 entries across 27 award categories that Noosa FM were named as finalists in the Best Special Event Broadcast!Congratulations to Noosa FM 101.3 on achieving national recognition of their community involvement! Sandy Bolton MP added her support to our community by co-funding a booklet of photographs of how our community commemorated this important event.

10.01.2022 Wednesday is Remembrance Day and this week in the lead up, we will be selling Remembrance Day poppies, badges, ribbons, pens and key rings. Come and see our friendly volunteers this Monday and Tuesday at our COVID-safe stall near Office Choice to buy a poppy, badge or even to donate your small change in one of our money boxes. You can drop into the Sub Branch to purchase too. Please give generously to support our veterans. Thank you

10.01.2022 If you haven’t already booked a place for our small Remembrance Day ceremony please call the Sub Branch on 07 5447 1981 to reserve your place. There are only 30 spots left and bookings close this Friday. For those attending, make sure you give yourselves adequate time to check in at the Club reception before proceeding to the Diggers’ Bar at 10:30am for the commencement of the service. Dress is smart casual with medals. ***Please note that this event is for Sub Branch members only***

08.01.2022 Here are some photos of yesterday’s Remembrance Day Ceremony. President of the Sub Branch, Adel Amin was accompanied by Independent Member for Noosa Sandy Bolton and Deputy Mayor, Cr Frank Wilkie to lay their wreaths at the Cenotaph. He was joined by RSL Club Chairman, Barry Bridger and General Manager, Julie McLaws as well as some of the students and staff of the Noosa Flexi School. They all paid their respects to those who have served in honour of our country.

05.01.2022 Remembrance Day was commemorated differently this year. Rather than outside at the Cenotaph, the Sub Branch held a small ceremony in the Bill King Room and Diggers’ Bar. Thank you to all the Sub Branch members who attended.
