23.01.2022 The changing times due to COVID-19 mean that this years Area, District and Division contests will be run on line rather than in person. Toastmasters, we are nothing if not flexible.

20.01.2022 This just in from Robert Green. Are we up to the challenge Area 24! Welcome to August and the new membership campaign. Can your club add five new, dual, or reinstated members with a join date between August 1 and September 30? ... Accomplish this goal and you’ll qualify to receive a Smedley Award ribbon, named in honour of Ralph Smedley, which you can display on your club’s banner. Qualifying clubs can also earn a special discount code for 10% off their next club order. (The discount code expires six months from the date of issue and is not valid with any other offer.) Applications and payments for members with a join date between August 1 and September 30 must be received at World Headquarters or online no later than September 30. The addition of transfer and charter members does not count toward Smedley Award credit. The winning clubs will be revealed online within a few weeks of the submission deadline. 18.01.2022 Just had to share this post from Colin Williams on the District 69 Facebook page. Cracked me up! I was at a Toastmasters meeting last night and as I was about to pick up the gavel, I saw a sign on it saying you can’t touch this. I thought it was because of COVID but apparently it’s a MC hammer.

11.01.2022 What a fortnight it’s been. Last week I was privileged to do my official visit on line with Upper COOMERA Toastmasters. Tonight I experience BeChange Toastmasters face to face and laughed til it hurt . Thank you to both clubs for your warm welcome and encouragement to participate. I look forward to the year ahead with such vibrant clubs to support to achieving their goals.
