12.01.2022 What the heck is going on........ . . This may be some of the questions going on inside your brain right now. As you look over the landscape of our country, our nation & the nations of the world we can tend to think HOW DID WE GET HERE.... .... . I want to encourage us today that seasons come & go. No matter where you are right now..... this season will pass. No matter what circumstances you are going through now.... this season will pass. No matter if you are in isolation or lock down.... this season will pass. . . As we are called to practice social distancing & stay at home can I ask that we all practice something else.... . . In the season practice good communication between each other. Isolation doesn’t mean the end..... it means we need to find new ways to connect, communication & STILL BUILD COMMUNITY . . 2 things that will help this . . 1. Have faith Take faith that the politicians, premiers, health care workers, doctors, scientist & have faith in each other that we will find a way through this season. . . 2. Have a friend Make sure you reach out & connect with someone. The worst thing in this situation is to be isolated. If this had happens 10-20years ago we would have been isolated but it’s happen in this season where over 51% of the world has access to Internet, 39% has social media & 67% have mobile phones. We can be the most connected people in all of history. 10.01.2022 Past chasing you down Today I sit here in the process of about to get 8 teeth extracted. They say that the past will always catch up with you........ there may be some truth to that but I don’t allow the past to define me.... if anything the past can be a major learning point for every single one of us. My past has brought to the point where I am today. I have learnt, grown, fallen, stumble but have hopped back up again. I will not defended my past with words like I didn’t... know better or I was lost because we all from time to time we can relate to these saying but what I will say...... I am a better man for the challenge I have faced, I have walked through & have had the opportunity to share about.
