(Please note posts deemed completely non-relevant or offensive will be removed)

14.01.2022 I was treated to a show by a pair of blue wren for about 10 mins straight (until I had to leave) at the carpark at Dunsborough Beach on Geographe Bay Rd. Great thing about glass is reflection so the birds couldn't see me. Think this is the closest I will get to these beautiful birds
13.01.2022 The mouth of Toby Inlet normally closes around winter as seen in the video (10/06/20) and reopened by the City around summer (or as monitored and determined by the City throughout the year) to allow flushing.
13.01.2022 Wildflower and bushland enthusiasts, help keep WA FREE from Myrtle rust, a serious disease of plants such as eucalyptus, bottlebrushes and peppermint trees al...l plants in the Myrtaceae family. In WA’s south west region alone there are more than 1800 types of these plants! This disease is present in the eastern states, and can be easily spread via spores on the wind, and on clothing and shoes even on your mobile phone! Our best line of defence against this disease is for everyone to know what it looks like look out for the tell-tale masses of BRIGHT yellow or dark brown spores - and report any suspect signs of myrtle rust. Early detection gives us the best chances of preventing spread. So if you are heading out into nature this spring, look, take action to prevent spread, and send reports and photos via our MyPestGuide app, or contact our Pest and Disease Information Service on 9368 3080 or [email protected]. Visit our web pages to know what to look for. Photo Tourism Western Australia

07.01.2022 Last TIC tree planting for 2020 of 500 tubestocks was completed last Sunday at Wilson Ave, Quindalup. We all got saturated in the morning which made planting fun and different from the norm. I took a photo of a yabby in the creek inland which is a sign of good water quality. Thank you to all the dedicated volunteers, City of Busselton for the plants and Litoria Ecoservices for weed control.
