24.01.2022 Well can you believe this wheel. The jackpot just keeps climbing. It will not be won and kicks off next week at $3425. Unbeeelieeeable !!! It will never, never, get this high again. Even the Joker which is at $100 and 3 boxes of Beer seems to be safe. The Glenfiddich was won by Dicky Dave and the Chivas Regal by Beanie. Well it is on again next week. Tinnie linnie is expecting to win this Jackpot and put everyone out of their misery.

23.01.2022 Gidday viewers. Today there were several multiple winners, Harry Malloy being one, who walked away with the aged Irish Whiskey. The Jackpot survived six attempts to take it, and so next week will start at $1250. 'Tis building again to a nice little earner. In three weeks it is December, where there will be Half Leg Hams Raffled off on the three Sundays prior to Christmas. Bread and Butter Pudding today,-----yum yum.

23.01.2022 Hello viewers. Tomorrow the Sub-branch has its Committee Meeting at 1pm. This is to be followed by a General Meeting the following Friday the 11th June at 1pm. Anyone with an issue to be raised at the Meeting, in General Business, please put it in writing to the Secretary before the Meeting. Or yours truely. Secretary [email protected]

20.01.2022 OK. we are open this Sunday, although the following Sunday looks to be another day of no power. The Wheel is due to be won, plus the Joker sits at $100 plus 3 x slabs of Beer. It is hoped in the near future the Memorial around the Gun and Remembrance Seat will include three pedestals as shown, about waist height, with plaques attached at their tops. One will be of James Martin, another of Vietnam, and another describing the characteristics of the Gun.

20.01.2022 Well at last, the Jackpot went off, some normality can return to the Sub-branch. Coe Cant was the young lady with the magic spin, which put everyone out of their misery and she picked up $3525, the biggest Wheel Jackpot ever here at Tocumwal. She shared it with Sally Bingham, so between them they have a nice tidy sum. Warren Crighton had his 70th birthday, good old Wazza, doesn't look a day over 90. He was showered with birthday pressies, and scored a birthday cake as well. The Wheel rebooted at $500, and next week sees it at a mere $550. Do not forget our General Meeting tomorrow at 1pm. It will be nice to have as many there as possible.

16.01.2022 Sunday at the Tocumwal Sub-branch was simply a great day. A lovely lunch followed by Bread and Butter pudding with Ice cream and custard. Just fantastic. Tinnie Linnie won the Whiskey, along with other prizes. Dave Nightingale had a birthday during the week, and as is the custom, was showered with pressies. Six had a go on the Wheel, and left the Jackpot there to kick off next week at $700.

15.01.2022 Well Remembrance Day at Tocumwal was well worth remembering. A short service at 1100 followed by a Commemorative Dinner in the Hall. The meal was as good as you can get. The Raffles were won by some who others would say were undeserving. Next Dinner should be a FSB Coral and Belmoral Commemorative Dinner in May. Cannot wait. Our Secretary, John Arthur and wife Christine celebrated their 43 wedding anniversary.

15.01.2022 Getting some of these for our Ladies at the Sub-branch.

12.01.2022 Sue Phyland having a crack at the $800 Jackpot.

08.01.2022 This Sunday the 25th October is significant as 105 years ago, at Gallipoli, the youngest Australian soldier, James Martin passed away. He was only 14 yrs and 8 months old, and and born here at Tocumwal. Today we had a caravanning nomad, Peter Robertson as a visitor. He was a long serving Member of RASIGS and will be familiar to many. Radar landed on the Joker, and cleaned up $100 plus 3 boxes of Beer. As if he needs that.-----The Jackpot survived, and kicks off next week at $800. Gary Beer cleaned up the Glen Fiddich, which is off to his "Man Shed". For those who want a quiet frothie of a Friday arvo, the Bar is open of a Friday afternoon from anytime after 1pm.

05.01.2022 Another lovely day at the Sub-branch. Gary Beer won the Whiskey again, that "man" shed of his must be full of Whiskey. The Wheel survived and kicks off at $1100 next week. Our Remembrance Day dinner is this Wednesday, Bar opens at 5.30 pm and there will be a sizeable amount of free stuff happening. There will be a Raffle happening on the night, with plenty of good prizes. There will even be some grog for those unfortunate ex Victorians, who are accustomed to drinking Metho, sugar and boot polish.

05.01.2022 Sunday prior to Melbourne Cup was a little quiet as some were AWOL visiting places afar. Chubb won the Whiskey and naturally kept the chocolate, whilst brother Colin will get to sample the Whiskey. The Jackpot survived and will start next Sunday at $950. This coming Thursday, Friday, and Saturday there will be Remembrance Day tokens for sale down the street. So please do not hesitate to drop in and give up your hard earnt.

03.01.2022 Sunday the 4th saw a nice number at the Sub-branch. They were treated to some fine dining, and lively entertainment, Donna Poustie celebrated a birthday and received a lovely Skipping Rope and a bucket of Fairy Floss The Whiskey went to nice homes, Tracey Thomas and Tinnie Linnie both took a Chivas Regal home. Six tried and failed to win the Jackpot, so next week sees it kick off at $1,000.

01.01.2022 Well, would you believe it? Lynette Betty Farrer won the Wheel Jackpot, $1125. She then scampered home to hide her loot from her brothers. So next week has it kick off at $500. Our regular Barrel girl shall be missing next week, and we have recruited a substitute in Lorrie Deering. He was rather reluctant however after much coaxing he has agreed to do the job.
