23.01.2022 This time last year this crop was Canola and it was blooming its little cotton socks off as we all started to watch the long range weather forecast in preparation for the Tocumwal Airshow. I hope this means that it will be Canola again in 2021 as we prepare for the next Airshow in a post COVID19 world.....fingers crossed. By the way, this crop is looking very good! Have a great weekend in this lovely Spring weather.

17.01.2022 Have you seen the new Official Visitor Guide for the towns of the Berrigan Shire? As well as all the tourism information the guide features a number of local stories and one is about Bob Brown and his passion for the history of the Tocumwal Aerodrome. It is a great read and is available on the Councils website using the link below. https://berriganovg.partica.online//berrigan-s/flipbook/1/

14.01.2022 Opening in early 2021, the Tocumwal Aviation Museum will be a new and exciting tourist attraction for Tocumwal and the region. Founded by Matt & Karen Henderson, the driving force behind the successful 2019 Tocumwal Airshow, and partnering with the Berrigan Shire Council and incorporating the outstanding work of the Tocumwal Historic Aerodrome Museum, the new Tocumwal Aviation Museum will be housed in a new purpose-built and dedicated facility at the Tocumwal Historic Aerodro...me thanks primarily to funding secured by the Berrigan Shire Council through the Australian Government’s Drought Communities Programme as part of the Building Better Amenity and Resilience for Berrigan Shire Project and contributions by Rotary and THAM. The Tocumwal Aviation Museum's vision is to educate, entertain and inspire visitors to foster an appreciation for, and promotion of, Australia's military and civilian aviation heritage and history, with a focus on Tocumwal’s unique and significant contribution to that history since 1942. The Tocumwal Aviation Museum will be open 7 days a week all year round and incorporate artifacts, memorabilia, interactive exhibitions, historic and vintage aircraft static displays, regular flying displays and much more. Follow their new page for regular updates as this exciting new development progresses!

11.01.2022 Do we consider this the back lawn or the front lawn? Whichever, the standard in lawns, and mowing them, has been set! Look out everyone else the challenge is on as Spring approaches.
