20.01.2022 The great and powerful Izzy & Sam, walking the walk with their super crew a few weeks back at @brisbaneracingclub .. it was a pretty wonderful day.. . . Also, with Covid Safe Plans in place it’s possible to get shots like this on your wedding day with some careful prep.. super wide open space, with peeps placed in a staggered pattern (front to back) maintaining social distance while looking like they are standing closer than they actually are.. Perspective WIN!

16.01.2022 The main priority for Team McGaw, when photographing a wedding, is capturing the spirit and energy of the day so that when you look back at your photos it feels like youre right back there....feeling all the feels. Because of this our coverage is around 80-90% undirected and totally unposed. On the other hand we are creative people and if you are keen to collaborate with us on something different we are all for it. 14.01.2022 Our gorgeous friends Bel & Steven had a surprise wedding (everyone thought they were going to an engagement party) a few weeks ago. We were asked to photograph the portraits (our legend mate @tennillefink photographed the ceremony). Massive thanks to the @camphillantiques for letting us take photos in your awesome shop! 13.01.2022 Oh hey there Toddy! (Thats Todd on the right for those who have just joined us). Not too many people know but Todd is also a registered celebrant! Obviously photography is our main gig but he does this a handful of times a year which he loves! . Emily & Keil really wanted one of their best friends (not a celebrant....but damn he did a good job) to perform their ceremony. To make things easy, E&K did the legal part with Todd (and immediate family as witnesses) earlier in the day. Obviously this shot was taken by me (Alyda) when he announced they were officially wed. . Goodness me we love weddings!!

02.01.2022 Team McGaw love an art gallery (we also quite enjoy an art gallery gift shop). So if you email us and say oh so were having our wedding inside the Queensland Art Gallery amongst the art (which is totally unheard of) then were going to be a little excited. Oh and if the week before your wedding, the art gallery changes up a bunch of the installations and one of them is the worlds biggest chandelier (not confirmed but seriously....is there a bigger one than this?) constructed by art legend Ai Weiwei, then were going to pee our pants with excitement. Thank you Em & Keil for letting us be a part of your most excellent day. Definitely a career highlight. Thank you also for being the biggest legends with the kindest hearts. Happy weekend everyone, Im having a g&t to celebrate!
