25.01.2022 We are starting to receive donations of winter items, we of course appreciate these very much but due to the current situation with COVID-19 we are going to have to do things a little differently this year We will unfortunately not be able to accept any second hand clothing donations. We will be able to take bedding, but it must be in good condition and be washed thoroughly before donating. Thank you to everybody who supports the drop in, we hope you are all keeping safe and well during this tricky time
22.01.2022 The Food Drop In will do its best to remain open during the present crisis. We have put measures in place to try to keep our volunteers and service users safe. We will not be offering a café, and will be giving out pre-packed bags at the door. We will try to keep some variety in these bags over the following weeks but our supplies may well run low. What we can offer may have to change. We ask that anyone who has been unwell with a fever or cough in the previous seven days, or who has been in contact with someone with these symptoms in the previous two weeks, should stay away from the Drop In. If you need food maybe ask someone else to collect for you. Stay well!
22.01.2022 We’ve had a few people asking us if we are going to be closing due to lockdown. The Todmorden Food Drop In is open as usual 9.30-12 every Saturday

16.01.2022 It's that time of year at the Drop In when we start to think about preparing for winter. Although our main priority is obviously the provision of food and other essential items we have always provided warm clothing and bedding etc. for those in need when we can. In more normal times we have accepted donations of bedding, warm jumpers etc. from the public but this is no longer possible due to the Covid restrictions. If we wish to provide winter supplies they will need to be bo...ught. Localgiving has set up a Covid match funding project and we have been approved as one of the recipients. It goes live today and then initially till 3rd November. After that it continues till the money runs out. We decided therefore to use this opportunity to try and raise money for our winter supplies. Any money donated and match funded will be used to buy bedding, fleeces and waterproofs, hats, socks, gloves and scarves. Donations can be made through our Localgiving page - Todmorden Food Drop In
14.01.2022 Local giving have extended the COVID fund match funding project as there are still some funds left in the pot. Thank you so much to everybody who has donated so far, we will update you all when the project comes to an end Donations can be made through our Localgiving page - Todmorden Food Drop In. that can be accessed through the Localgiving website or via our Facebook page.
