16.01.2022 15 alpacas met with the shears today and many hrs of driving from home to Liena, then on to upper Natone and lastly for the day Stanley. A big day tomorrow shearing at Stanley then down to Nabageena then 4 1/2 hr drive home!

09.01.2022 The Toffeemont shearing team kicked of the shearing season last week with alpacas at Braxholme, Scottsdale,nunamarra and Tunbridge. Also done 5 matings with 2 of our males and brought all our pregnant females home after 6 months getting fat at Lilydale. Thx Peter for a your help for looking after our girls. A big weekend!

05.01.2022 Called out late today to this little poppet that arrived 2 weeks early and started to crash, emergency cria kit packed and off we go! too weak to drink and mum not letting her, overnight care sorted with colostrum feeds and a warm bed, hopefully tomorrow she will be brighter. Fingers crossed

01.01.2022 This little guy born yesterday afternoon and his mum had a cosy nights stay in our Neo Nat pens as he was weak and lethargic. He struggled thru the night and I have just let them out and he had a big drink from mum and is doing better.
