25.01.2022 Reducing the economic divide: This photo is an aerial view of Naguru, an urban suburb in Kampala. The photo which one first place in the Uganda Press Photo Award, shows a clear income inequality between residents of the same area i.e. Lower and upper Naguru, only divided by a road. This photo was taken in a city, now imagine the difference that would be if one of these were placed side by side with a refugee hosting community in the West Nile region if Uganda!... Economic imbalances are real. T2B was born for situations such as these; to empower people in less privileged conditions improve their livelihoods. Photo credit: #UPPA

18.01.2022 When a woman / youth is empowered, a whole community is transformed. There will be food in a home, young people will be engaged in meaningful activities, children will go to school and the family's basic needs will be catered for. Our wish is that for every individual we reach out to, the effect will flow like a ripple transforming an entire community.
