24.01.2022 Dear Friends in Christ, Easter greetings to you all ! The bishops of Australia have just completed their bi-annual gathering, albeit via zoom!... One of our decisions is to entrust Australia during this pandemic to the Immaculate Heart of Mary under the title of Our Lady Help of Christians. This entrustment is to be prayed throughout Australia on 24th/25th May. Please find attached the Prayer of Entrustment. I ask you to spread this prayer far and wide over the next week so that we can all be ready to pray it in parishes, schools, communities, families and so on the dates indicated. In a few days I will offer you further liturgical resources, including a short video on the matter. 18.01.2022 The Late Rev. Fr. Wilfred Edward Plunkett will be taking a final journey out to his much-loved Settlers Village on Friday, 19th June 2020. The Funeral Cortege will process down Baylis Street, Wagga Wagga, commencing at the Edward Street intersection at 8:30am on Friday, 19th June 2020. Allowing the community of Wagga Wagga and surrounds to stand and pay your respects and show our thanks to the generous service he gave to so many of us within the community and surrounds of Wag...ga Wagga. We respectfully invite our community to stand along Baylis Street from 8:30am in accordance with social distancing guidelines on Friday, 19th June 2020 for the Funeral Cortege Procession of the Late Rev. 05.01.2022 Shortly after being appointed as the 6th Catholic Bishop of Wagga Wagga last week, Bishop Mark Edwards made a brief visit to Wagga Wagga. Whilst here, he recorded this video to introduce himself and announce the date for his Installation Ceremony.
