25.01.2022 Hi you lot ! Just letting everyone know we will not be opening until enough restrictions are lifted that will allow us to trade and be viable and sustainable. With the current restrictions venues are able to have up to 20 people per enclosed space,provided they have four square metres for each person. Only six people are permitted per table,and drinkers can only have alcohol along side a sit down meal. That doesn’t make sense to me unless l’ve got my maths wrong... (Shoulda used an abacus ) OR they are really big tables !!! Our dining room normally seats 40 so that means we can only have 4 people in that room. So by the time we turn on all the fridges,freezers and cool room,re-stock all the perishables and re-hire staff it is not viable . Pubs are a social business and these are anti-social laws. We hope to open as soon as we possibly can,but that will depend on the Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews!! When we know, we will let you know...... And YES we did think about doing take-a-way meals at the start of this crisis,but again we did our sums and it didn’t stack-up to be viable . We have seen a number of Mansfield vendors offering their services,and hats off to them for being creative in these hard times,but l don’t think any of them will be delivering to Tolmie once their businesses are back in full swing as some have already packed it in because it’s just not viable. We will be offering a take-a-way menu when we re-open as a side to our main business . Hoo Roo Doc,Kym,Peachy and Luke

You can bask in the sunshine on the deck In the summer or inside around the fire in the winter and watch the snow falling. whilst having a chat to our friendly bar staff and locals.
