24.01.2022 Welcome and backing small Business in the Shire by providing rate cuts and incentives. Local industries, family businesses and farm enterprises can grow and create more jobs. Allow ALL Permits to be dealt with on a timely manner and to offer help to get Business growth in this region.... Introduce ‘gap year’ and ‘apprentices’ in the Shire of Strathbogie. To encourage young people to then start a business and create their own job. Promote Agriculture as ‘Future’ business/employment, not to have farm land carved up for the Shires’ gain and valuation increase which then push rates up. Authorised by T Maher Hume Highway Balmattum
15.01.2022 Honeysuckle Creek Ward Ratepayers and Residents need to kept updated of what is happening in the council at all times. All council meetings must be open to public at all times so everyone can see and hear what their Councillor is doing for them. As a ward councilor in Honeysuckle,... 02.01.2022 As a local, born and raised in the Honeysuckle Ward. I have the knowledge and have worked here for my lifetime in Agriculture, a volunteer and been on many committees over the years. As a previous councillor for Violet Town pre-amalgamation the Shire of Violet Town was a Profitable Shire as it was ran correctly. With my knowledge of local, state and federal government, I will be able to turn this Shire around. I am approachable always with listening to people in the Sh...ire and talking their views and concerns (from the gallery) to Council meetings to present date. 02.01.2022 The Communication Tower in Violet Town was meant to be installed at a higher height than it currently stands.... but this current shire have allowed objectors to have their say and the tower height was reduced. Therefore some people now have been denied this service due to not able to get the signal of the tower as the tower is not high enough.... Authorised by T Maher Hume Highway Balmattum
