22.01.2022 It's our BIRTHDAY! This week marks one year since my first Nature Playgroup sessions!! This year was supposed to be my 'test' year, to see if I could make a sustainable job for myself... of course nature had other plans. What a crazy year to start an outdoor/tourism business (or any business) with the threat of bushfires, flooding and then COVID.... I have learnt a lot about how demanding running your own business is, and what parts I don't like - kudos to all the business owners out there! Of course there has been so much fun, exploration and growth this year too. My walks and nature immersion sessions have moulded to fit the needs of my customers and our community. I have watched little 1 years olds who couldn't climb the big sand hills as they grew stronger and more confident in themselves - at the end of last term they tackled those hills and we celebrated with huge smiles!! I have seen families connect with each other, form new friendships and bonds I have shared our amazing home and all it offers with visitors to Port Stephens Thank you so much to all my regular local families and the visiting tourists who have supported my journey so far, it has been so nice to get to know all of you I look forward to seeing what the future brings.
