25.01.2022 PBL PROMPT WEEK 2 BELONGING The Buddy Bench The Buddy Bench is a place that you can go when you are feeling lonely and want to let others know you would like someone to play with. It is important that we include others to make sure everyone at TPS feels like they belong. If you see someone sitting on the Buddy Bench kindly ask them if they are okay or if they’d like to join in a game with you.

12.01.2022 This term we are looking forward to developing our Strategic Improvement Plan (SIP). We hope that you can find the time to assist us - every bit of information will help us to understand what you and your children need moving forward at Tomaree!

05.01.2022 14/10/20 Dear Parents and Carers, Year 6 student Zarley Peters has been chosen to be the Newcastle ambassador for this year’s national HeartKids Two Feet and a Heartbeat charity walk. She will walk this Sunday to raise funds and awareness of congenital heart disease (CHD). All money raised will go toward supporting a charity called HeartKids. This charity provides support for families living with CHD. At 12 weeks of age Zarley was diagnosed with CHD and underwent open heart ...surgery. A few weeks later, she suffered a complication, and her heart stopped beating. Now Zarley is living a relatively healthy life, but that anxious feeling still plagues her parents. To support Zarley in her fund-raising efforts, we will have a ‘Red Day for HeartKids’ next Friday 23rd October Students will wear a red item of clothing (or more). A gold coin donation from each participating child will be donated to HeartKids. Please support Zarley in her fundraising efforts. Ben Cornish Michele Pearson Assistant Principal Principal
