23.01.2022 Big congratulations to Tom Curtain who is a Finalist for the 2021 Golden Guitar Awards for Save Gave Us The Song, a collaboration with Sara Storer and Lee Kernaghan. She Gave Us The Song was written by Garth Porter of Rancom St Studios and Kelly Dixon, and pays homage to the remarkable contribution Joy McKean (Slim Dusty’s wife) has made to Australian music. Congratulations to all the other finalists!

It’s not very often we take a Saturday off in peak tourist season but after the year we have all had and not knowing when this sort of opportunity will arise again, we decided to close the gates and head off to the Katherine Cup! 22.01.2022 Today is our two year wedding anniversary. We had hoped to celebrate by greeting two smiling faces at the airport for school holiday adventures, but unfortunately that wasn’t to be the case this year. We can’t wait to squeeze the heck out of Tils and Charlie when the WA borders reopen. 21.01.2022 Our little Harry Hugo is 8 months old today! Where has the time gone? To think in that time he’s been on a national tour, been to every state and Territory in Australia twice (except Tassie), had cuddles with some of Australia’s biggest country music names and now lived through an international pandemic. It’s been quite an eventful 8 months although he’ll be none the wiser. He lights up our day (sometimes at 3am) and we can’t wait to share this beautiful smiley cheeky little man with his siblings, cousins and grandparents soon. 11.01.2022 We have our first Live Music Event for the year on Saturday 8 August with Golden Guitar winner Matt Scullion Music, ARIA Nominee Allison Forbes Music and special guests! We know a bunch of Territorians are still trying to work out how to use their Tourism Vouchers. We have packaged the event with our Katherine Outback Experience Show and Horse Riding Experiences and thrown in one of our famous Cheese platters and free camping! You have until the end of October to use the Show and Horse Riding parts of the package so you don't have to do it all in one or two days. 11.01.2022 Not everyday you look up in a show and see the Honey Badger sitting in the crowd! Our Team has had a fun few days hanging out with @nickbadger and @al_george and sharing some of our favourite Katherine attractions! Of course it didn’t take long to put them to work - @ellewoodgate and @annabelcurtain had them out training a few breakers and assisting with a local school group while the rest of our Team headed off to a First Aid course. ... 06.01.2022 Breanna Jayne Horsemanship and her best buddy Dixie the Donkey! Bre raised Dixie on the bottle as a baby and the two now have a pretty special bond. Often Bre will head out for a run and Dixie can be seen running alongside - not sure if she’s more of a hinderance in this case but we think it’s pretty cool! 02.01.2022 Our littlest team member turns 1 today! It’s crazy to think it’s been a whole 12 months since this little character entered the world. What an adventure his life has been already! We hit the road touring when he was just three weeks old for four months. In that time we visited every state and territory twice except for Tasmania (one day we will get there, we promise). He has then been mum and dads right hand man back in Katherine helping with the horses, dogs and guests to sh...ows. He loves the animals, swimming, outdoors and singalongs with Dad. He was walking at 9 months and is into everything! He usually has the cheekiest grin on his face to go with those beautiful big blue eyes! Wishing you the best first birthday little man.
